Taller

Gernika and the fake news

Presentation

The didactic workshop “Gernika and Fake News” is designed to touch on the thematic areas of ethics and history through a specific event such as the bombing of Gernika on 26 April 1937. Starting from the current concept of “fake news”, students will have the opportunity to reflect on the importance of the past and the need to preserve the truth about events without allowing the transmission of facts to be manipulated for propaganda, social, political, etc. purposes. The ultimate goal is for students to recognise the value of historical memory and, at the same time, learn to use the right tools to develop their own critical vision.
