Historical Memory

The exhibition Historical Memory is a bibliographic exhibition that consists on a selection of books about this subject.

This time coincides with the 79th anniversary of the air bombardement of Gernika, for these reason, the museum presents a selection of books on Historical Memory. It was opened on April 7, 2016 and will remain on the second floor of the Gernika Peace Museum until 18 September 2016. At the same time, the museum has a temporary exhibition with the same topic on the ground floor: Memoria Histórica: images of the aftermath of the Franco-dictatorship.

All the exposed documents are preserved in the deposits of the Documentation Center and are available for consultation.
