Family visit

¡Bienvenidos y bienvenidas al Museo de la Paz de Gernika!

Are you ready for an exciting family journey through time? Our museum will take you back to a turbulent period in our recent history: the Spanish Civil War. Here’s a sneak preview of what you’ll find:

  1. Explore the Spanish Civil War and the bombing of Gernika through audiovisuals, photos, objects… and travel back to the Gernika of the 1930s.
  2. Peace, human rights, conflicts, reconciliation… show us paths to follow in our life’s journey.
  3. Guided tours of the permanent exhibition, guided tours of Gernika… our guides will take you to the most emblematic corners of the museum and the town.
  4. On Sundays with the family, the little ones will marvel at the activities organised especially for them.
  5. We offer friendly rates so that everyone has access to our museum. That’s why on Saturday afternoons all our visitors can enjoy free admission. We also offer reduced rates for students, senior citizens, groups, Youth Card holders, unemployed people, large families and people with disabilities.

So, are you ready for a journey into the past in a museum for the future full of learning and shared family moments? We look forward to seeing you at the Gernika Peace Museum!
