AWARDS 2023
The winners of the 18th Gernika Peace and Reconciliation Awards 2023 are:
- Truth Commissions in Argentina, South Africa, Timor-Leste and Colombia.
- The platform of Basque Associations working with minors living in the areas affected by the Chernobyl disaster: Chernobyl Elkartea, Chernobyleko Umeak, Txernobilen Lagunak and Ukraina Gaztea.
The town halls of Gernika-Lumo and Pforzheim, the Gernika Peace Museum, the Gernika Culture Centre and Gernika Gogoratuz organize the GERNIKA PEACE AND RECONCILIATION AWARD that award the work of two people or organizations, be they national or international, that stand out for their work in favour of peace and reconciliation.
