Traces and memories of exile
One of the many human consequences of the Spanish Civil War was forced migration and exile in search of survival. But there were also great acts of solidarity such as the exile boats.
We suggest carrying out an investigation from the point of view of several characters to try to understand the situation of those thousands of people who suffered exile during and after the Spanish Civil War. The exhibition Outbound Ticket by Cecilia Zabaleta, illustrator and the granddaughter of one of those Spanish refugees that disembarked from the Winnipeg, will serve as a starting point.
