Objectives
- To learn about the effects of the atomic bomb.
- To become acquainted with the ideology and the peace movement.
- To create a critical awareness of weapons of mass destruction.
- To create positive thinking.
EXERCISE 1: The effects of the atomic bomb.
Explain what happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, showing photographs of the effects so that they really realise the seriousness of what happened.
EXERCISE 2: Listening to a testimony
Narrate Sadako’s story.
EXERCISE 3: Making paper cranes
Learn how to make paper cranes.
