The women of Gernika in the 20th century. Testimony and experiences

This research and exhibition sought to recover the testimonies and experiences of women from Gernika or who have worked and lived in Gernika during the 20th century, from three perspectives:

1. The everyday settings of the women
2. The women’s contributions in the town.
3. The expressions of the women in the bombing.

This research and exhibition was rounded off by different activities, educational workshop, talks (Oihulari Klown, Toti Martinez de Lezea…) and has resulted not only in the exhibition, but also in a book and a website.
