School of Mediation in Museums and Memory Sites
The School of Mediation in Museums and Memory Sites (EME) is a space that aims to contribute to the training of mediators, educators, and workers who interact with audiences at museums and memory sites, providing theoretical and practical approaches to content relevant to working in these places and highlighting the reflections and experiences of the museums and sites themselves.
The event allows for the exchange of experiences between these memory spaces that work daily in human rights education, contributing to reflection on the approaches, practices, and concepts that guide mediation in museums and memory sites.
Objectives
- Contribute to training in approaches, practices and concepts relevant to mediation in museums and memory sites, based on a space for exchanging experiences.
- Provide general content on approaches and concepts relevant to the practical approach to mediation in museums and memory sites.
- Identify the main demands, difficulties and challenges presented by mediation in museums and memory sites.
- Share and reflect on experiences of mediation in museums and memory sites.
- Provide general tools for mediation work.
