Guided tours and walking tours for individuals in summer
In order to make the summer a profitable one and get to know our history and heritage, we offer you these activities during the summer (from 19 June to 10 September):
Walking tours (Memoritours Gernika)
We offer 4 walking tours that show the memorial, symbolic, historical and cultural heritage of the town:
- Air-raid shelters
- The reconstruction of Gernika after the war
- War correspondents in Gernika
- Picasso and ”Guernica”
Guided tours to the permanent exhibition
The museum’s permanent exhibition is organised around several questions:
- What is peace?
- What happened in Gernika in the absence of peace?
- The bombing narrated by the people who lived it
- What about Human Rights in the world today?
