Walking tours (Memoritours Gernika)

We offer 4 walking tours that show the memorial, symbolic, historical and cultural heritage of the town:

1. Air-raid shelters
2. The reconstruction of Gernika after the war
3. The war correspondents in Gernika
4. Picasso and ‘Guernica’

Guided tours to the permanent exhibition

The museum’s permanent exhibition is organised around several questions:

1. What is peace?
2. What happened in Gernika in the absence of peace?
3. The bombing narrated by the people who lived it
4. What about Human Rights in the world today?
