The winners of the 15th Gernika Peace and Reconciliation Awards 2019 are:
- Paul Preston, Angel Viñas and Xabier Irujo
- Christos Stylianides
The town halls of Gernika-Lumo and Pforzheim, the Gernika Peace Museum, the Gernika Culture Centre and Gernika Gogoratuz organize the GERNIKA PEACE AND RECONCILIATION AWARD that award the work of two people or organizations, be they national or international, that stand out for their work in favour of peace and reconciliation.
AWARDS 2019
The winners of the 15th Gernika Peace and Reconciliation Awards 2019 are:
- Paul Preston, Angel Viñas AND Xabier Irujo, historians and specialists in the bombing of Gernika.
- Christos Stylianides, European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, for his commitment to Human Rights.
