AWARDS 2008
The winners of the 4th Gernika Peace and Reconciliation Awards 2008 are:
–Candido Saseta, the commander of Euzko Gudarostea.
–Dekha Ibrahim Abdi, Alternative Nobel Prize 2007 (Right Livelihood Award).
The town halls of Gernika-Lumo and Pforzheim, the Gernika Peace Museum, the Gernika Culture Centre and Gernika Gogoratuz organize the GERNIKA PEACE AND RECONCILIATION AWARD that award the work of two people or organizations, be they national or international, that stand out for their work in favour of peace and reconciliation.
