Art for the Memory
Art not only transforms objects, but also consciences. Participants will give new life to photographs of war objects, turning them into artistic expressions that promote peace and harmony in everyday life. Through this exercise, they will also reflect on the impact of military expenditure on education, social welfare, etc.
Transform weapons of war through art, in figures of peace.
The necessary materials are provided by the Museum.

Objectives
-To sign our commitment to peace in a symbolic way.
-To understand that the use of weapons can be different.
-To be aware of the money spent on weapons for the “welfare” of society
-To awaken and use creativity
1st exercise: Knowing the weapons of war
Some weapons historically or currently used to wage war will be presented.
2nd exercise: Dismantling weapons
Some of the weapons presented will be chosen and symbolically dismantled. To do this, each weapon will be divided into pieces and then decorated.
3rd exercise: The new use of the pieces
With all the decorated pieces, a new object, figure or landscape will be created that has nothing to do with war or violence. The resulting work will be explained, group by group.
