From October 2017 to July 2018, the organisations Gernika Gogoratuz, the Gernika Peace Museum and the Harrobia Centre for Innovation in Stage Production organised an international training course on Theatre of the Oppressed.

The Gernika Peace Museum closes 2023, the year in which it celebrated its 25th anniversary, with record numbers of visitors.
There have been 60,562 visitors to the Gernika Peace Museum in 2023, 15,912 more than in 2022 and surpassing all records (previously obtained with the 53,000 visitors in 2019 pre-pandemic).
