The Memoritours aim to explore places of memory and monuments dedicated to the victims of the Civil War in the Basque Country, guided by the explanations of professor and expert on the subject Jesús Alonso Carballés.
Memoritour (16 September)
To mark its 20th anniversary, the Gernika Peace Museum is organising several Memoritours to visit places of remembrance and monuments to the victims of the Civil War in the Basque Country, guided by explanations from professor and expert on the subject Jesús Alonso Carballés.
This activity will last all day, and the route will be as follows: Gernika, Durango, Otxandio, Legutio, Vitoria-Gasteiz.
Departure from Bilbao (Plaza Moyua) will be at 8:30 a.m. and arrival at 6:30 p.m.
Departure from Gernika (bus station) will be at 9:15 a.m. and arrival at 7:15 p.m.
The activity is free, but registration is required. Limited places available.
