-Cinema Les chevaliers blancs, (Dir. Joachim Lafosse, 2015) in collaboration with Gernika Zine Klub Group and the Cultur House, at 20:30 in Lizeo Cinema; free entry.
A film by Joachim Lafosse (Best Director Award at the San Sebastián Film Festival) starring Vincent Lindon, Louise Bourgoin, and Valérie Donzelli.
Synopsis: Jacques Arnault, president of the NGO “Move for Kids”, plans a major operation: he and his team intend to bring 300 orphans, victims of civil war, out of Chad and hand them over to French couples who have applied for adoption. Journalist Françoise Dubois accompanies them to cover the story. Immersed in the brutal reality of a country at war, the NGO members begin to lose heart and question the limits of humanitarian intervention.
