The Documentation Centre on the Bombing of Gernika presents a selection of books on the Spanish Civil War and heritage.

During the Civil War, the Republican government tried to protect and safeguard the heritage by moving it away from the places in conflict in order to avoid its looting or destruction.

All the documents on display are kept in the centre’s storage rooms and will be available for consultation by anyone who is interested.
