We have spent many years highlighting what was transmitted by the survivors of the bombing of Gernika. Their testimonies, their desire not to forget, and the transmission of their message to the next generations.
23 April 23, Wednesday
- Inauguration of the temporary exhibition of the artist Fernando Sanchez Castillo, at the Peace Museum of Gernika at 18:00.
- Free admission to the museum (10:00-19:00)
- Gernika 2025 Awards (10:30) at the Jai Alai fronton court.
- Violin recital by Rino Yoshimoto, with a violin that survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and organised by Kids’ Guernica at the Gernika Peace Museum (15:20)
- Conference: Artistic and cultural heritage in times of war
