1st Conference of the Ibero-American Network of Workers and Activists for Remembrance, Social Movements and Human Rights (RITA)
Three sessions to share experiences, raise questions and reflect together.
This September will see the 1st RITA Conference, a forum for discussion and learning that brings together people involved in memory, social movements and human rights from museums, memorial sites, educational institutions, cultural centres, research centres and organisations across different regions.
The aim is to pool experiences and tools to reflect on the challenges currently facing remembrance, human rights and social movements.
Over the course of three sessions, various issues will be addressed, with the participation of speakers from Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Chile and Mozambique. The conference will take place online.
RITA is co-organised by the Memorial 1968 y Movimientos Sociales (M68) UNAM – México, the Gernika Peace Museum – España and the Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos Ernesto Che Guevara (CelCHE) – Rosario, Argentina.
