The Gernika Peace Museum continues to spread the history and memory of the town through guided tours. This time we will talk about the women who lived and influenced the profound changes of the last century.

Women of Gernika: The Changes of the 20th Century through their Experiences

The last century brought about profound changes in the life of the town and the women of Gernika were the protagonists of this transformation. Through their experiences and with their own testimonies, we will learn about the impact they had on Gernika from the time of the break-up of the Second Republic until the hard times of the post-war period.
