We are working on a continuous improvement plan<\/strong> to ensure full access to the museum for everyone. In this section we will be updating the different advances in Accessibility. <\/p>\n\n

As of today, the Museum\u2019s accessibility status<\/a> is as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

General information<\/h2>\n\n

FREE ENTRY <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

People with an accredited disability have free entry (\u20ac0) to the museum. <\/p>\n\n

INFORMATION DESK <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In the entrance hall there is an information desk where the staff provides information on all the museum’s services, spaces and programme. The counter has an adapted area. <\/p>\n\n

LOCKERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The locker service is located in the tent, where backpacks and other items can be stored.<\/p>\n\n

We offer groups the option of storing the bags or backpacks they bring in lockers or chests in the same space.<\/p>\n\n

RESTING AREAS<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

On each floor there is a seating area with benches.<\/p>\n\n

Folding chairs are available at the reception, on the 1st floor and on the 2nd floor.<\/p>\n\n

WIFI<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

We offer free wifi without password.<\/p>\n\n

PHYSICAL ACCESSIBILITY<\/h2>\n\n

All rooms are fully accessible (except the didactic classroom).<\/p>\n\n

STREET ACCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The main entrance to the museum is via stairs. Handrails are installed to assist in ascending the steps. There is an accessible entrance located on Artekale Street. It is accessible via a lift. All of the museum\u2019s circulation areas, however, are accessible. <\/p>\n\n

LIFT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

We have a lift with capacity for 4 people with numbering and a visual and Braille directory, but there are no sound indications.<\/p>\n\n

The lift to the Museum is located in Artekalea Street. The telephone number to be called is indicated so that the museum staff can open it to the outside. <\/p>\n\n

TOILET FACILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

There are accessible toilets on the reception floor and in the temporary exhibition (basement) with a sink inside the bathroom. <\/p>\n\n

BABY CHANGING TABLE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The adapted toilet in the shop has a baby changing table, a nappy bin and a sink in the front room.<\/p>\n\n

FOLDING CHAIRS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Folding chairs are available at the reception, on the 1st floor and on the 2nd floor.<\/p>\n\n

WHEELCHAIRS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Wheelchairs are available in the cloackroom.<\/p>\n\n

VISUAL ACCESSIBILITY<\/h2>\n\n

We are currently working on removing sensory barriers in the museum. <\/p>\n\n
